Friday, the 13th...Cue the bats - hehe. I don't believe in superstitions and bad luck, but it's fun to play around.
In Literature 9 we voted for our favorite perseverance T-shirt. We will make the final cut on Monday. We then shared our notecards of facts on Edgar Allan Poe. We looked for those facts that floated to the top. We didn't get much chance to work with our mystery box, so we'll finish up on Monday. For homework, everyone is to look up the words for the "Cask of the Amontialldo."
In English 10 we basically took our Art of Communication test. Everyone should read for the weekend as the end of the quarter is this week, and some people have to do their book talk.
In American Literature, we took our unit test on the Puritans. We have quite a few people that need to complete their books and their book talks. For homework, just read those books!
Have a great weekend everyone!
