Sleep is an amazing thing! I finally got some, and life is good.
In Literature 9 it was again another struggle to get the two sections to line up. In first hour we looked over the vocabulary related to the story "Sayonara". We also worked on author's purpose. Finally we returned to the story to indicate the imagery used.
In English 10 this was supposed to be their final work day, but tomorrow I'm going to be out of the classroom. But they worked on researching, and tomorrow there will be a direct object/indirect object assessment, and then everyone is supposed to rehearse.
In American Literature we reviewed The Scarlet Letter and then there was a quiz. Questions need to be answered on Herman Melville using www.biography.com. Finally everyone is supposed to read Moby Dick.
In Law we discussed the difference between a trial court and appellate court. There were numerous times to go to the board, and everyone participated so well. Three of the students shared their stories on mediation, and the other three will share theirs during the next class period.
A great day. I love working with students. I love talking with students. I guess it's a good thing I'm a speech coach.
