Well Wednesday was a bust since we got out of school at noon. I'll combine those classes that did meet with the schedule of our activities today.
In Literature 9 we worked on our worksheets on Multiple Perspectives and You Never Really Know... Today we created a timeline of the events from Chapters 1-4. We also took a check over Chapter 4. There is so much comedic relief in this chapter. My imagination runs wild while I think about the tire scene. For tomorrow everyone should read Chapter 5.
In English 10 we finished up Act I on Wednesday with the other class, but because fifth hour didn't even meet, we needed to finish reading Act 1. We also worked on an assignment concerning stage directions and Shakespeare's writing. With that we were able to analyze the religious language used by Romeo, scan for rhyme scheme and look at a few oxymorons. Tomorrow will be our first quiz over Act 1.
In American Government both Friday and Monday we discussed the hats worn by the President. We took a few notes, and then we reviewed the worksheet entitles "Hail to the Chief." It's hard to want to slow down when over half the class doesn't even do their homework. It's hard to sympathize. Regardless our test is on Wednesday and then we'll move onto the Legislative Branch.
In Law we didn't meet on Wednesday, but today we discussed elements found in our criminal packet - murder, manslaughter, and larceny. Everyone is to continue to work on the packet #46-49.
Today was a tough day! I think I would have like having classes on Thursday and the having today off. I am so beat.
