I felt like I woke up running, and I haven't stopped since. It's been one of those days where it's been go-go-go. It will be that way until after play practice tonight.
In Literature 9 we had a Monday video. We started out class with finishing our Characterization Workshop. Then we reviewed the vocabulary related to "The Interlopers". We will finish up Expand Your Vocabulary tomorrow. Then we started to review the story map. We reviewed those tings on our Story Detective. Unfortunately I was pulled out of first period, so we have some catching up there tomorrow. Quite a few did not have their story detective done, so the conversation would have been one-sided.
In English 10 we also had a fun video on an unlikely pair of friends - an elephant named Tarra and a dog named Bella. It was a sweet sweet story, and after the presidential debates last night, we needed to hear that people who have obvious differences could still get along. We finished up our vocabulary presentations. Our test will be on Wednesday. Listening notes were next on the agenda, with just enough time at the end of class to divide up the work on some propaganda notes.
We didn't have American Government because we were at the casino taking our senior pictures. I hope she got some good ones!
Have a great Monday everyone!
