I thought everyone looked absolutely stunning for this past weekend's prom. I appreciate all the pictures. My grandson celebrated his second birthday, and I had grandma duties.
In Literature 9 we discussed the burning of Miss Maudie's house in Chapter 8. We took our check and then reviewed the worksheet questions. The storyline with Boo Radley is essentially over; now the book will be phasing into its second plotline. For tomorrow, read Chapter 9 and complete the vocabulary.
In English 10, we reviewed the web related to Juliet. Then after a quick review of terms, we took our quiz. I didn't see too much smoke or staring out into space like they didn't know answers, so I hope that's a good sign. For tomorrow, read for ten minutes.
In American Government, we watched a quick video on Congressional leadership. Then everyone was given eight broken squares reviewing the information on the leadership. Using that information, they then were to complete the Congressional Dinner Party worksheet. Third hour had a little harder time getting done, but everyone finished the squares part of the activity and only have a little bit of the worksheet left. For Wednesday, finish the worksheet and complete your current events.
In Law, we watched a short video on what tort law is. It's a little boring, but at least it isn't too long. Then we started to discuss the differences between an offerer and an offeree. What elements need to be present in order to make it a valid offer? We then started to look at agreements like an email account. There are so many offers we enter into, but this is a common one. We looked at how they can use our photos, graphics, etc. if they are published publically. For tomorrow, have a tort case ready to share.
All in all, a great day. I think all of us have a better mood simply because it's finally warming up! Thank you Spring!
