Shucks, our hearts are heavy for our boys' basketball team, but we really should be proud of their accomplishments. It just might be a little too early yet.
We didn't have Literature 9 today because of the late start. I sent everyone an email that told them to work on their book ball as we will only finish them up tomorrow. We will do presentations on Thursday.
In English 10 we finished (almost) motivational speeches. In both classes, we have one speaker left. As an assignment, everyone is supposed to finish the Ethos, Logos, and Pathos worksheet. I reviewed that we have one more impromptu speech - a pet peeve speech. Then we'll be moving on to our Shakespeare unit.
In American Literature we only had class for a half of an hour. During that time, we worked on our book balls. Tomorrow with Mr. Judge you will have additional time, but on Thursday, you will present them. Don't forget to get the Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau worksheet completed.
In Law, we compared and contrasted France's criminal procedure to ours. We watched two short videos on the investigation of Princess Diana's accident. Then I had to give time to read the murder mystery installment. A lot of the students didn't read it. Finally, the crime has occurred. I handed out the next section. Please have it ready for tomorrow.
