I feel like I've been running on fast forward all day. I'm looking forward to my Lazy-Boy...yeah right!

In English II the speeches continued. Some were definitely in need of work and rehearsal. There are a few speakers that think "winging" things is an option, but quality speeches take time and rehearsal. We reviewed parts of speech and will have a quiz tomorrow.

In American Literature Mr. Helkenn had the juniors complete a survey for career day next month. We then discussed the impact of Puritan literature. We reviewed the Puritan philosophy and applied it to the Massachusetts Psalm Book and New England primer. What a legacy to our culture!

In Literature 9 we discussed the importance of details when reading. We took a check and reviewed vocabulary.
