Twelve years ago today my father-in-law passed away. Always a day of reflection and memories.
In Literature 9 we returned to reading the novel. Chapter 22 was about the reactions of the immediate family and neighbors. We took a check over the material, and then we began to fill out a web on the impact. We also finished up our adjective classification worksheet.
In English 10 we took a check over Act II: Scenes 1-2. We also worked with infinitives and figurative language. The worksheet is due tomorrow.
In American Literature we took quite a few notes on Modernism and the Lost Generation. We then moved to our groups and began working on our Lost Generation projects.
In Law we had lengthy discussion on search and arrest warrants. We reviewed lots of scenarios, and also discussed the problems that social media (Twitter, Facebook, and Yik-Yak) is creating for schools, privacy, and bullying. We then started to discuss Miranda warnings.
Have a great Thursday. I'm so glad for the short week!
