I really didn't post anything for Friday as I saw probably a total of 12 students all day. From what I heard, STEM day was a huge success primarily because you are great kids and very helpful.
In English 10 we finished the last of our short reading. We assigned our vocabulary for Words Related to Groups. Everyone had to leave their notebooks again as I didn't quite get them done. They should be graded by tomorrow.
In American Government we played another game, but this time related to the Constitutional Convention. We discovered that there weren't any rules in 1787, but the Founding Fathers had to deal with risk (dice), and needed to compromise when new things came up (big paper clips). We then began to discuss the various men that created the Constitution.
In Literature 9 we're finally finishing persuasive techniques. I know everyone has to be excited, because it seems to me that we've been spinning our wheels trying to finish it. We're going to read one more essay "A New Generation of Americans" and then it will be time for a unit test.
Have a great Monday. The weather seems to be perfect, so try and get outside to enjoy some of it!
