Earlier today I tried to write down "August" for the month. I'm not sure if I'm looking ahead or if I'm hoping to start the year over. Either way - it gave me pause.
In Literature 9 we worked with tone of voice. We took a check over Chapter 24 and also used the questions to review the elements of the chapter. We then started to work with an activity related to tone of voice, but we'll have to finish that tomorrow (along with the impact of the trial). Everyone is supposed to read the next two chapters.
In English 10 we finished up Scene 3 (Friar Lawrence and Romeo). We review the figurative language in Act II, Scene 2. For tomorrow there will be an assessment of infinitives, so finishing the worksheet (#1-20) will be the final review.
In American Government the entire class was devoted to the Election timeline from announcement to inauguration. We will be having a quiz on Wednesday along with time to work on campaign project.
In Law we finally finished our discussion of criminal procedural timeline. We'll finish up 5-2 notes and move onto the defenses tomorrow.
Have a great Monday! Good luck to the track students as well as the varsity golfers.
