I'm not sure, but it seems like it is warmer outside. I believe anything above zero will feel warmer.
In Literature 9 we enjoyed our conversations regarding "The Most Dangerous Game". "Game" has a duel meaning; it either refers to a game, like chess, or game as in prey. It's a wonderful classic story about the hunter becoming the hunted. I wonder how resourceful we would be if we were put in Rainsford's position.
In English 10 second hour, we didn't get much accomplished because most of our class was taking the PLAN test. In sixth hour we finally finished our final presentations. Then we worked on our vocabulary words. The test will be next Thursday. Then we introduced the concept of persuasion. It is my hope that we will make short persuasive speeches on Wednesday and Friday of next week.
In American Literature we finished taking notes over Romanticism. What an interesting time in history! We then were dazzled with a student presentation of Washington Irving. We have such good conversations in that class. It is really a lot of fun to teach and be a part of that learning process.
Have a great Thursday!
