I'm sorry I forgot to update my website. With all that's going on, I'm just going to plead insanity.
In Literature 9 everyone read the story "The Leap." Everyone should pay attention to the flashbacks and leaps (get it) in time. After they are done reading their story, they should complete "The Story Detective".
In English 10 they worked first on their direct objects worksheet. They then had a quiz/check so that I can see how people are doing. They then had time to work on their vocabulary presentations. Finally they were to being typing up their book. They will only need two pages typed, so if that is their entire book, O.K. If it isn't their entire book, stop, as we only need two pages for the upcoming activities.
In American Literature first everyone reviewed their vocabulary words. Then they took a quiz over Edward Winslow's journal. They could use their notes, but it was timed so they obviously didn't have time to look everything up. Then everyone reviewed the Puritan principles. They were then to apply tjhm to the New England Primer on pages 28-29.
According to the substitute, everything went wonderfully! I repeatedly said, "I have amazing students," and I was so glad you all lived up to that description.
