Later in the afternoon following the win against Huddersfield Town, an Accies XI had a comfortable 3-0 win against Billingham Synthonia, courtesy of a double by coach Stuart Taylor (31, 68 mins), (the second being a 35 yard drive) and a goal by Lucas Akins, courtesy of a Grady cross. Again there was a healthy Accies support at this game, which was very much appreciated, in another game played in warm conditions.

Accies lined up - Murdoch, Collins, Sheridan, Taylor, Trialist, McQueen (Evans 30), Grady, Gillespie, Akins, Guest (Kirkpatrick 65), Lyle (McLeod 55)
