Overview

Bobby was a midfielder who joined the club from Fairholm Amateurs in 1970. Manager Bobby Shearer put him on loan to Vale of Clyde for a spell. He was freed at the close of the season.

He was a member of the Avon Villa side which won the Scottish Amateur Cup on 15th May 1982 in a 1-0 win over the Ayrshire cracks and Cup holders, Knockentibber, at Hampden. He then formed Avonbridge AFC in Hamilton. Lived in Bothwell, though he came from Whitehill originally. Born in 1953.

Debut on 26th December 1970 at home to Raith Rovers in a Scottish League match which Accies lost 1-0.
