Overview
Arniston Rangers was his club before he signed for Accies in 1945. A left winger, he was looked on as a possible replacement for Willie McCall who had been transferred to Newcastle United earlier in the season. He appeared in consecutive League fixtures but didn’t suit the club’s requirements at that time.
Debut on 20th October 1945 in a Southern League match at home to Morton.
