Overview

Yet another who showed great promise as a teenager. Was with Glasgow United and Hillington YC, winning the Scottish Cup with the latter as well as playing a trial for Dundee before being signed from Hamilton Youth. He was introduced into the first team in 1989, making the step early in his career but seemed to lack the self discipline necessary to maintain his place.

Freed in 1990 he went to Dumbarton where again he was released. He then played as a trialist for Clyde. His next move took him into the juniors and in 1991 he was with Kilbirnie Ladeside, then two years later with Larkhall Thistle.

Height 5’10”, weight 11sts.

Born in Glasgow on 1st November 1970.

Debut on 23rd August 1989 in a Scottish League Cup tie at home to Dundee United when he appeared as a substitute in a 2-1 win.
