HAMILTON, Alex (1925)

Overview

An amateur with Queen’s Park prior to signing for Accies in the 1925 close season. He was a local boy. With Tom Miller and George Gibson holding down the inside forward positions, Alex found it difficult to get a game and it was usually when one of the regulars were rested, say before a Scottish Cup tie, that he came into the side.

Joined Cowdenbeath in March 1926.

Debut in a Lanarkshire Cup tie at home to Airdrieonians on 14th September 1925 in which he scored.
