A goalkeeper who had previously been with Burnbank Athletic, Motherwell and Royal Albert and who appeared during the 1905-06 season when Hugh Edmonds was injured. Picked to play for the Lanarkshire League versus the Irish League while with Burnbank in 1902.

Debut on 28th October 1905 in a Qualifying Cup tie at home to Clyde.
