Overview

Played for part of a match at home to East Fife in 1970 wearing the number 11 jersey, and then was substituted. He had been with Albion Rovers earlier. He had joined Sunderland at the age of 17 in November 1959. He left Roker Park and signed for Brighton in July 1962. Exactly a year later he moved to Crewe before returning to Scotland.

Born in Coatbridge on 9th November 1942.

Debut on 24th October 1970 at home to East Fife in Scottish League match which ended 1-1.
