Overview

Born in Glasgow on 27th October 1977 he had been with a number of senior clubs prior to joining Accies at New Douglas Park in 2001. He played in Netherlands with De Graafschap then went to Iceland where he was with Renya. From there he was with Chester City, next came Queen’s Park and it was from Hampden that he signed for Accies.

A striker, he looked a prospect in his first outing but from then on he never really impressed and he was soon, in October 2001, on his way from the club.

He had a short spell with Cowdenbeath and then went back to England with Non-League Hednesford Town. From there he joined Altrincham, then Chester City and next Vauxhall Motors.

By 2009, as a holder of UEFA’S “B” coaching badge, he was Assistant Manager with Runcorn Linnets, who played in the Vodkat Premier League. His full name was Adewale Ajetunmobi, but used the one above.

Debut on 7th August 2001 as a substitute in a League Challenge Cup tie away to Peterhead in a 2-0 defeat.
