Overview

Made a name for himself as a juvenile with Burnbank Swifts as their centre forward. His promise never materialised after signing in 1958 for Accies. On being freed he went to Carluke Rovers. A cousin of Joe Baker the ex-Hibs, Arsenal, Turin, Raith Rovers and England star.

Debut on 9th August 1958 in a Scottish League Cup match at home to Ayr United which Accies won 3-1.
