Accies Career
Overview
Belfast born on 5th February 1980, he was signed by Celtic from Celtic Boys Club on 18th July 1996. He came to Accies in September 1999 having earlier been on trial with Grimsby Town after being released from Parkhead in the close season.
With the close season of 2000 came a free and he went to Cork City then Galway United in the Republic of Ireland. A midfielder who was capped at Under 21 level for the Republic of Ireland despite being born in the north. He was in the Republic eleven which lost 2-1 to Greece on 25th April 2000. A member of their squad which was chosen to play against Macedonia in Skopje.
Stood 5’7” and weighed 11sts.
Debut on 2nd October 1999 as a substitute in a Scottish League match at home to Arbroath in a 2-2 draw.
