BEUZELIN, GUILLAUME (2009)
Overview
A talented midfielder who was quite a catch for Billy Reid in October 2009. A Frenchman he was with his local club, Le Havre for five years from 1999. Within that period he was on loan to Beauvais.
A move to Scotland came when in the summer of 2004 he was signed by Hibernian where he was a member of the League Cup winning side in 2007, he was based at Easter Road for four years before travelling south to Coventry City.
He turned down a contract for the following season and had trials with MK Dons and Celtic (versus Cork City), before his move to New Douglas Park. Unable to agree terms at the beginning of January, 2010, he went to Cyprus with Olympiakos Nicosia. Without setting the heather on fire, he left there and was reported to be seeking a return to the SPL in June. Kilmarnock were said to be interested, however it seems that a medical was taken with a negative result.
5’ 9” and weighs 12sts 11lbs.
He was born in Le Havre on 14th April 1979.
Debut on 25th October 2009 in a Premier League match as a substitute at home to Celtic which was lost 2-1.
