Joined the club in 1901 following spells on the books of Airdrieonians, Celtic, Port Glasgow Athletic and Motherwell. A centre forward whose playing career at Douglas Park spanned all of 5 months. Scored a hat trick for Accies in a friendly versus St Mirren in 1898 while with Mossend Celtic.

Debut on 14th September 1901 in a Scottish League match away to Abercorn.
