1938: In a reserve match at Douglas Park against Raith Rovers, centre forward William Darge scored all of the goals in a 6-2 win for Accies.

1979: Accies won the Reserve League Championship with a 5-3 aggregate over Stirling Albion. The latter having won the East Section and Accies the West. In the first leg at Stirling the match ended 3-3. In front of 500 spectators at Douglas Park goals from Joe McGrogan and Jim O’Donnell clinched the title for Accies.
