Overview
A centre forward with Lesmahagow Juniors, he was provisionally signed by Cowdenbeath and later made their eleven on a regular basis, becoming a great favourite at Central Park. All this after playing as a trialist for Accies successfully in 1961 and 1963.
Debut on 16th September 1961 in a Scottish League match away to Albion Rovers when he scored in a 2-1 defeat.
