WALLACE, David (1939)

Overview

Played at outside left in the first match of the fated 1939-49 season when only five matches were played in the League competition thanks to the outbreak of war. In his other game he was at outside right. Previously with St Mirren before coming to Douglas Park in July 1939 at the age of 22. Well built at over 6’. Could play at inside forward as well.

Debut on 12th August 1939 in a Scottish League match at home to Arbroath.
