Accies Career

Overview

A clever inside forward who played one game in 1958 while a junior with Ashfield. A small tricky player who eventually signed for Partick Thistle. In 1964 he was involved in a player exchange when another player who had been on Accies books for a very brief spell, Danny McLindon, moved to Partick Thistle with Neil going to St Johnstone. He later went to East Stirlingshire, the club he had turned out against whilst wearing the red and white of Accies.

In 1967 he immigrated to South Africa. He is the father of the former Dundee player of the same name.

Debut on 16th April 1958 in a Scottish League match away to East Stirlingshire in a 3-1 defeat.
