AGNEW, Walter (1958)

Overview

A local boy, from Hillhouse, he was signed from Strathclyde Juniors in 1958. Before being with them he played in turn for, Larkhall Rangers, Hamilton Cross Club and Pollok Juniors. Impressed on his debut and it seemed as if he was another star in the making. He was an outside right. Was a regular in the side for the remainder of the season. In the next term he made few appearances and was released.

Debut on 1st March 1958 in a Scottish League fixture at home to Stenhousemuir in a 7-2 win.
