Accies Career
Overview
A former schoolboy cap who had come to Accies after Celtic let him go in 1987. A centre forward, he was given chances to score while at Hamilton, but never succeeded. On being released he went to the Irish League club, Portadown where he became very popular. He went on to play for Derry City. Another former Hamilton Thistle player.
In 1982 and 1983 he was capped while attending Cathkin High School receiving 10 in total. In one of the matches, against Northern Ireland in 1983 he scored all the goals in a 4-0 win.
Born in Glasgow on 31st August 1967.
Debut on 5th March 1988 in a Scottish League match away to Partick Thistle which was scoreless.
