1899: Acas were the first side to visit Leith Athletic in a Scottish League match at their new ground, Hawkhill.

Events

1889: Following reports on the 10th of August, further Special Meeting was called again in the County Hotel at 8pm. Later reports suggested that Burnbank Swifts would turn senior and move into Douglas Park with a junior club still playing in Burnbank. Despite all of the conjecture Accies were drawn at home to Wishaw Thistle in the Scottish Cup. The tie was due to be played on September 9th.

1912: It was announced that Mr T.Dodd, a club Director, had been appointed to the SFA Selection Committee.

1946: Advertisement placed for a trainer/coach.

1963: Mr Andy Paton, the Manager was congratulated in signing Stan Anderson. It was agreed that 5 be the minimum number of shares to be held in future.

2000: Accies met Montrose in a Scottish League match at Firhill. There was no scoring in the first half. David McFarlane came on in the second half and scored a hat trick in a 6-0 win.

2002: The Scotland squad under Manager Bertie Voghts and his assistant, Tommy Burns trained at the ground prior to the match versus Denmark on the 19th and 20th.
