Accies Career

Overview

A clever young player who came to Accies in the close season of 2000 along with his Pollok Juniors team mates, Robert Prytz and Alex Eadie. Unable to establish himself in the side he went back to Pollok on loan in January 2001. Robert was plagued by injury in his season with Hamilton and had few opportunities to show his true worth and he was placed on the transfer list at the end of the campaign.

He was a midfielder who returned to the juniors with Arthurlie in August 2001 and he was released by them at the end of the season. He was again at Arthurlie in 2004 when he was among those chosen to form the Scottish Junior squad for a trial match for the International side. He then moved back to the seniors with Cowdenbeath in 2005 where once again injury held him back and he left Central Park to go back yet again to the lower grade with Pollok once again. Prior to Pollok Juniors he had been on Queen’s Park’s books.

Born on 22nd April 1979.

Debut on 2nd January 2001 as a substitute in a Scottish League match at home to Albion Rovers in a 3-2 win.
