Overview
Willie was a junior with Kilsyth Rangers when he was secured by Albion Rovers in 1920. He later appeared for King’s Park before becoming an Accie in 1923. An inside forward, he had played against Accies earlier in the Scottish Cup for the Stirling eleven. Hailed from Cumbernauld. With Lochgelly United by December 1923.
Debut in a 7-0 home Lanarkshire Cup game against Hamilton Garrison on 14th August 1923.
