Accies Career

Overview

When John came to the club in 2003 from Wolverhampton Wanderers he looked capable of filling the left side of defence. However he, like a couple of other early season performers, moved on as he was unable to command a regular first team place. He left Hamilton in January 2004 and returned to seek a club nearer his base. Nuneaton Borough were said to be interested in signing him. From Birmingham, he had been at Molyneux for four years, two of which were as a schoolboy, prior to his move to Accies.

He quit playing during the summer of 2004 and joined the Royal Marines.

Born on 1st October 1984.

Debut on 2nd August 2003 in a League Challenge Cup at home to St Johnstone which was lost 3-2 after extra time.
