WATSON, John (1899)

Overview

Cameronians, probably the Glenboig club, was his team before Accies. Although his details while at Douglas Park are impressive, he did not remain with the club for long before leaving to join Motherwell. Possibly had connections with Edinburgh University too. In 1923, he was an employee of Glasgow Corporation and still maintained a keen interest in the club's affairs.

Debut on 14th January 1899 when he scored a hat trick in a 6-4 home win over Ayr FC.
