MORTON, Archibald (1925)

Overview

Hailed from Newmilns and had been a signed player with Rangers and Queen’s Park before coming to Douglas Park prior to the commencement of the 1925-26 season. When Morton played Accies at Douglas Park in November 1926, Archie was at outside right for them and was one of their best players on the day.

An outside right who tipped the scales at 10sts 7lbs and whose height was stated as 5’7”.

Debut on 24th August 1925 in a Lanarkshire Cup tie at home to Albion Rovers.
