GRACIE, Tom (1908)

Overview

22 year old who was with Wellwood Star, Strathclyde and Airdrie. He was in the Airdrieonians side which met Queen’s Park when the new stand was opened at Broomfield in 1907.

The following year he was signed by Accies to fill the centre forward role, he wasn’t the answer. He moved to Arthurlie before becoming a Morton player in 1910. By April 1911 he had been signed by Everton. He then joined Liverpool later that same year before a return to Scotland came when he signed for Heart of Midlothian.

Born in Glasgow on 12th June 1889, he died in 1915.

5'10" and 12sts.

Debut on 21st November 1908 in a Scottish League match away to Third Lanark.
