Overview
He was signed by Accies from Baillieston Juniors in February 1927. He was a talented individual who on his debut made an excellent first impression with two goals at Parkhead.
Prior to signing for the club he was the star performer in a match between a Scottish Junior League select against a Glasgow Junior League select when they met at Shawfield on 23rd October 1926.
He was transferred on loan to Cowdenbeath in November 1928. Earlier that year he was in the Solway Star side, from Annan, in the Southern Counties Cup. The following year he appealed regarding the fee Accies were asking for his permanent transfer and the SFA set a figure of £100.
Baillieston born, Frank was 5’7” and weighed 11sts 4lbs.
Debut on 16th February 1927 in a Scottish League match away to Celtic.
