RUTHERFORD (1942)

Overview

When Accies regulars arrived at Douglas Park in 1942 for the game against Partick Thistle a number of first team members were missing. This young fellow was one of the new faces that day, on the right wing, he apparently played quite well. He may have been a former Blantyre Celtic player.

Debut on 12th September 1942 in a Southern League match at home to Partick Thistle.
