FRAME, Jimmy (1934)

Overview

A goalkeeper who made few appearances for Accies and was freed in April 1936. Jimmy Morgan was suspended due to a sending off against Clyde when James was given his two opportunities. Did not satisfy on his first team debut, not too convincing was the view.

Born in Blantyre, he had joined Accies in December 1934 from Stoneyburn Juniors following impressive outings in the reserve side. He gave up the game in 1936, shortly after being released by Accies, to become a policeman in Coatbridge.

Well proportioned at 6’1” and 11sts 7lbs.

Debut on 23rd November 1935 in a Scottish League match at home to Heart of Midlothian.
