ITHELL, William (1941)

Overview

A Welshman, born in Hawarden on 7th February 1916, he turned out for Accies in 1941 at centre half twice and at wing half on the other occasion. He was a member of Bolton Wanderers staff at that time. He also made guest appearances with Brighton and Hove Albion, Reading, Mansfield Town and Chester. The war over he went to Swindon in May 1946 and while there he turned out in their colours 107 times up until 1949.

Debut on 27th December 1941 in a Southern League match away to Partick Thistle.
