MARTIN, James (1897)

Overview

Again we have here another of the Accies pioneers to have taken part in the historic match versus Kilmarnock on 6th November 1897 at Douglas Park. He appeared in 13 of the 14 games played that season, at right half. That was almost his Accies League total as he did not feature much thereafter in the first team. A former Burnbank Swifts player.

Debut on 11th September 1897 at home to Motherwell in Qualifying Cup tie which was lost 4-3.
