Accies Career

Overview

On his Accies debut he was a big hit with the fans as he scored the decisive goal against Hibs to give Accies their first win of the season in 2009. A hard working striker who came on loan from Dundee, following the departure of Richard Offiong to Carlisle United in August of that year. Injury midway through the season restricted his appearances likewise a period at the close of the campaign. Despite that he was second highest League scorer in the best team performance for 75 years.

He began his career at youth level with Paris Saint-Germain and OGC Nice in his native France. He continued his career with Preston North End, Notts Forest and Brentford on loan before joining Oldham Athletic. He emerged as a prominent striker in season 2003-04. Thereafter he had a number of clubs to his name, Kidderminster Harriers, Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday, Notts County, Grimsby Town, then to Norway with SK Vard Haugesund, for two years, then to their rivals, FK Haugesund. During his stay in Norway he won their Golden Boot Award with 27 goals from 21 appearances and was named as the Second Division Player of the Year.

He came to Scotland and was taken on at Easter Road for a nominal fee on 31st August 2007 before going to Dundee on loan in January 2008. At the end of the season he signed a three year deal with the Dens Parkers. In 8 outings for Guadeloupe in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup he scored on 6 occasions. His exploits enabled them to achieve quarter final status.

His Accies loan spell over in May 2010 he reverted to Dundee, though Billy Reid had expressed an interest in signing him on a permanent basis for Accies. When Dundee went into administration in October 2010 he was one of the players released even though he was on the injured and it was thought that he would return to New Douglas Park at that time, however it never materialised as Accies had by then sufficient players of his quality. It then appeared in the press that Ross County were interested in signing him.
