NICHOLL, James (1917)

Overview

Port Glasgow born, he played with Wishaw Thistle alongside Bobby McNeil. Signed by Airdrie, then on to Middlesboro' in 1910 for four years during which time he appeared in 52 League games and scored 13 times. He scored the same number of goals when he joined Liverpool from there in January 1914 and the outings numbered 52 also for them. Signed for Accies in January 1917. Resided in Morningside.

Debut away to Rangers in a Scottish League match on 27th January 1917.
