DOCHERTY, Lawrence (1980)

Overview

A 1980 signing from Cumnock Juniors, with whom he had won a Scottish Cup medal the year before. He looked promising in his first match at Fir Park but as so often happens he couldn't follow it up and he was allowed to go, whereupon he rejoined his former club in 1981. Stranraer tempted him back to the senior game in season 1983-84 and in his fifteen outings for the Stair Park side he hit five goals.

Born on 14th December 1957.

Debut on 15th March 1980 at Motherwell in a Scottish League match which Accies lost 4-0.
