DUCEY, Joe (1933)

Overview

Turned out at inside left in all of his matches while at Douglas Park in season 1933-34 having signed for Accies from the local juvenile club, Hamilton West End. The press report of his debut stated that he appeared to have a bright future with the club.

This never came to pass and with the season over he was released, whereupon he signed for junior side, Arthurlie. He was a member of their side which reached the Final of the West of Scotland Cup in 1935 versus Ardrossan Winton Rovers.

Debut on 25th August 1933 in a Scottish League match at home to Hibernian in which he scored.
