Overview

Looked too slow for the First Division in his first game at left half and was seldom seen thereafter. Hailed from Baillieston.

He had been at Watford prior to coming to Douglas Park. He had gone to Vicarage Road from Bo’ness and turned out for Watford 178 times with 6 goals to his credit, there he played at centre half or left half.

In August 1928 he was in the junior grade with a strong Baillieston side.

Debut on 1st October 1927 in a Scottish League match at home to Aberdeen.
