Overview

Appeared in Accies first ever Scottish League encounter in November 1897 at outside right and went on to an ever present in the League wearing every jersey from 7 to 11 as a result. He missed a season and then came back to play a further 3 matches in the League. He also was in the side which lost in the Semi Final of the Qualifying Cup to Galston in November 1899. Originally signed from Strathclyde with whom he played at centre forward in their Scottish Junior Cup winning side in 1897.

Debut against Royal Albert on 16th October 1897 in a Lanarkshire Cup tie which was won by 5-0, then replayed due to a protest.
