McMAHON, John (1920)

Overview

With the side struggling near the foot of the table, John was one of a number of new players introduced during the latter part of the 1919-20 season. He had been with Glencraig Celtic and East Fife before his move to Douglas Park. He was a tidy inside forward who helped to steady the ship.

He went to Dundee Hibernian at the opening of the next League season. In June 1921 he returned to Fife to join Lochgelly United.

Debut on 6th March 1920 at home to Partick Thistle in a Scottish League match won 3-2 by Accies.
