Overview

A goalkeeper signed from Lumphinnnan FC, from Fife in 1943. In his first full season he only missed two League matches. He was brilliant one day and not so good the next. He expressed a desire to play in an outfield position, the opportunity arose in a pre-season trial on August 4th 1943 when he played at outside left. In another match 3 days later against the 86th Regiment of the Royal Artillery which Accies won 3-0, he was back in goal.

He returned to Fife when in September 1944 he went to East Fife on loan. His last game for Accies was at the end of the 1944-45 season. During the 1949-50 season he was with Stoneyburn Juniors.

Debut on 14th August 1943 in a Southern League match at home to Falkirk.
